On Dec 12, a scheduled home birth with a midwife turned into a mom and dad team effort at the Carter residence. Courtney, a labor and delivery nurse, progressed through labor too quickly for the midwife to make it and so she had to talk her husband, Ash, through the process. 20 minutes later a beautiful, healthy, baby girl named Annabel Fiona was born.
